Connected Fibers, LLC Terms & Conditions for Sale of Goods

Pricing

• Prices are subject to change without notice.

• Contact Connected Fibers for a custom quotation tailored to your needs.

 

Minimum Order

• All stock item orders require a minimum purchase of $100.00, unless waived by a Connected Fibers representative.

• Non-stock items may have a higher Minimum Order Value.

• Products may be sold in increments of 1, 25, 50, 100, 500, or 1000 as individual pieces, packs, or sets. This will vary by vendor requirements and by product type.

• Repair/Evaluation Services require a minimum of 1 hour Engineering time at the current hourly rate applicable.

• Technical Services or Custom Work requires an upfront NRE fee to cover engineering time.

Shipping

• Same-Day/Next-Day Shipping:

  o Orders received by 2:00 PM EST on weekdays are processed and shipped the same day, subject to stock availability.

  o Orders received after 2:00 PM EST may ship the next business day.

• Carriers: We ship via FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Shipping charges apply based on the selected method and carrier.

• Lead Times: Standard lead times vary by manufacturer and stock availability.Return Policy

• Order Discrepancies: Report any issues with your order within 24 hours of receipt.

• Return Conditions: Returns are accepted only for unopened items in original packaging, with full quantity returned.

 

Return Process:

  o Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 3 days of receipt.

  o Return items to Connected Fibers within 7 days of receipt.

• Non-Returnable/Non-Cancellable Items:

  o Custom products, made-to-order products (e.g., polishing fixtures), and special-order products (e.g., manufacturing equipment such as polishers or interferometers) are non-returnable and non-cancellable upon purchase order.

  o Cable assemblies of any type or configuration are considered custom parts and are non-returnable and non-cancellable.

• Defective Items: Defective products may be returned and will be replaced at no charge.

• Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee may apply to returns of stock products, at Connected Fibers’ discretion.

 

Payment Terms / Credit Terms:

 o NET 30 days upon approval for qualified commercial firms and government agencies.

 o New accounts may be opened within 12–48 hours after receipt of bank and credit references.oSome exceptions may be made for rush orders.oA 2% per month finance charge applies to balances unpaid after 60 days.

• Advance Payments:

  o Non-qualified or foreign entities must pay via wire transfer before shipping or manufacturing.

• Credit Cards:

  o Accepted cards: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

  o A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.

• Connected Fibers, LLC makes no express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise regarding its products.

• Product information, recommendations, and technical data are believed to be reliable but are provided without guarantee of accuracy or completeness.

•  Product properties are typical values and not intended for use in specifications. Users must conduct their own tests to determine product suitability.

• Conditions of use are beyond our control, and Connected Fibers assumes no liability for results obtained from product use.
