OFC, or Optical Fiber Conference, is the largest global conference and exhibition for optical communications and networking professionals. This will be the first opportunity to showcase the all new Equipment Accessories for VSFF Connectors,1Cure-VIX CE Rated programmable oven, the 560A series polishers, and single and multi-fiber fibersect benchtop cleavers.
We will next to Data-Pixel and demonstrating the latest DPX 360 MT visual inspection and interferometer combo. And the all new D Scope-MT Mini visual inspection system for both cassettes (through adaptor) and patch cords in one platform.
The 1Cure-VIX is a high performance, curing oven for Single Fiber or Duplex Fiber Applications including the new VSFF connectors for high density data-centers. The oven is ramp/soak Programmable, 4 timer capability, and uses the patented in-fixture temperature monitoring for precision and reliability. Photonics West is the world’s premier lasers, biomedical optics, and optoelectronics event held annually by the show's organizer SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics. Products on demonstration will include Interferometers, Visual Microscopes with Defect and Contamination Analysis, Ferrule Concentricity Measurement and PM Alignment systems. Connected Fibers will also have on hand our 1Cure Series of Ovens and Epoxy dispensers. Jointly our products support a wide range of industries and applications including SMA terminations for medical and industrial patch cord manufacturing.

We Have Moved to A New Location!

Connected Fibers has moved to a new and updated facility to modernize and maximize the efficiency of our operations including a larger space for the manufacturing of our 1cure products. Also, the move accommodates the hybrid-remote working culture that was implemented during the pandemic and proven beneficial to employee retention and workplace flexibility. Operations and facility management continue to operate on-site in order to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through normal operations practices.
According to CFO, Randy Gritters, "Connected Fibers' business model and product scope has evolved greatly since we had moved into the old building 12 years ago. It is time to invest in the next phase of our business and having a facility that fits our current needs and company goals is essential to future success."
Connected Fibers is now located in the same business complex across Hembree road at 1100 Northmeadow Parkway, Suite 150, Roswell, GA 30076.

Connected Fibers Launches the 1Cure-VI

Connected Fibers is excited to announce the release of the 1Cure-VI programmable curing oven for single fiber or next generation duplex connectors. The initial release date was OFC 2020, however, due to the pandemic the official release was delayed until Photonics West 2022 where it can be demonstrated for the first time in person.
The 1Cure-VI has been designed using the latest PID microprocessor technology combined with a highly intuitive programmable interface. The new innovative design and engineering results in a fiber optic curing oven with extremely stable and uniform temperature across all heating blocks. Unlike typical analog ovens that have a drift in temperature of ± 15°C, the 1Cure-VS maintains a stable temperature within +/- 0.2°C allowing you to have control of your process. The universal block accepts all standard, single-fiber, connector types making this oven a flexible solution for many applications.
The 1Cure series epoxy ovens is suitable for any production line that is looking for efficient and controlled process for epoxy curing and creating a strong bond between the optical fiber and ferrule during the connector termination process. Using our patented fixture temperature monitoring technology these series of ovens are the most accurate available on the market

Connected Fibers to Resume Trade Show Participation in 2022

Connected Fibers, LLC announces that we will resume trade show participation in 2022. This announcement is made as plans are confirmed to participate at several industry trade shows including Photonics West in San Francisco, OFC in San Diego, and ECOC in Basel, Switzerland. Participation in the shows seems natural as more companies have resumed in-person meetings and work related travel. Each trade show event will have its own local guidelines on COVID-19 safety and prevention measures.

The SFP-560A series fiber polisher is Seikoh Giken’s newest premium production polisher and the first in the marketplace to incorporate our patent pending Dynamic Pressure Control (DPC) pressurization system.
The unique DPC pressure technology offers a mass production platform incorporating highly stable, widely variable precision pressure control to the polishing Turntable. The pressure is applied from the bottom to the top. The new SFP-560AC2 has auto-clamping for less operator dependency and improved operational efficiency.

Re: Open for Business / CISA.gov Identification of Critical Infrastructure
Connected Fibers continues to operate, manufacture and ship products to our customers with timely and uninterrupted service. Since our first statement we continue to follow CDC guidelines for safety including social distancing measures such as telecommuting and employee spacing. We are systematically sanitizing shared
workspaces, handwashing, educating and communicating with employees along with using protective eyewear, lab coats and gloves where required. We would like to keep our employees, families and community as safe as possible.
Currently the State of Georgia, and our City of Roswell, do not have “Shelter in Place” orders. However, should the State and, or local governments restrict business operations to essential “Critical Infrastructure Workforce” only, Connected Fibers will continue to operate under CISA.gov guidelines that identify and mandate the operations of
essential supply chain to several industries we serve under this classification. Our industries served include Critical Manufacturing, Communications, IT Infrastructure, Defense Industrial Base, Healthcare and Public Heath, and Department of Energy.
Therefore, Connected Fibers will maintain or modify employee work schedules while, at the same time, taking necessary and appropriate COVID-19 precautions. We ask that our suppliers continue to support Connected Fibers in following guidance from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security
Agency on maintaining “Critical Infrastructure”.

Connected Fibers' New Web-site to be launched Jan. 5th 2022.

Connected Fibers, LLC is planning to launch a brand new web-site for 2022 and beyond. We are pleased to announce the new web-site will have many improvements over the previous web-site including more product information and access to critical documents such as data-sheets, MSDS's, product demonstration videos, and much more. The new site will have a fresh appearance and utilizes a modern web-site platform.
The initial launch will be phase one of three to continually add needed media and content. This site will have the capability for continuous updates and a dedicated resource to implement them. A soft launch of the web-site may occur sooner with some limited features. Please check back regularly for changes.
